The exquisite Hartwood Painted Deluxe Redwood Overlap Retreat Shed series is more of a lavish garden structure rather than just a practical garden edifice. This garden dwelling is crafted using premium materials and is bound to become a small touch of opulence in your garden space. The shed exhibits a drastically inclined roof that not only confers a unique aspect and essence but also engenders a generous headspace within. The roof and flooring are both fashioned from 12mm connecting and pressure-treated tongue and groove planks, while the roof is perfected with Canadian Red Cedar shingles, a material commonly seen on upscale residential structures in Canada. Over time, these shingles will naturally transition into a subtle silvery hue, with their inherent oils shielding them from pests and decay, endowing them with an estimated lifespan of approximately 50 years. The floor is affixed onto sturdy pressure-treated bearers that shield the structure from direct ground contact, thus safeguarding the floor against ground dampness. This particular dimension is coupled with 2 operable windows and 2 fixed windows that usher in an abundance of daylight and create a well-ventilated interior during warm sunny spells. These windows can be installed to open sideways or upward and are glazed with a 4mm thick tempered glass, presenting a safer alternative to standard glass. Gate to the structure is provided by a singular door equipped with a rim lock for security. This Deluxe Retreat Shed is devised from pressure-treated, kiln-dried, and smooth-planed boards of Redwood timber, set atop a robust 45mm x 28mm framework in an overlapping assembly bearing a 20mm wall thickness in the region of timber overlap. This top-tier shed is available in two different proportions (4′ x 6′ & 5′ x 8′) and an array of 3 color choices (green, grey, cream) that are pre-painted at the factory.
