Nestled inside the Scarletlands 4′ x 4′ Skylark Summer Retreat is a unique and versatile building that allows you to determine precisely where you want to place the entrance and access points. This spacious structure features rows of 4 apertures creating a bright and welcoming space to entertain guests, or a place to relax and enjoy views of your garden. The modular panels can be positioned on any side and in any orientation to create your perfect layout. The entrance can be connected on either side to make them left or right-hinged and comes with a reliable lock, key, and pivot mechanism. The shelters feature extra high eaves ensuring there is enough headroom within the building so most people will not need to stoop while inside. The retreat is elevated on foundation supports to raise the structure off the ground but is fully enclosed on all four sides to prevent any intrusion from below and beneath the foundation. Constructed from premium 12mm shiplap timber panels protected with our well-known TigerSkin water-based treatment. Both the base and roof are built from sturdy 12mm tongue & groove panels with mineral felt added to the roof for extra protection against the elements. All timber used in the construction of our buildings has been certified as harvested from a legal and sustainable source. This item comes with the Scarletlands Garden Structures 10-year guarantee included. Offering protection against common wood decay and rot – the guarantee does not cover the product against timber splits or warping which may occur naturally over time. Please Note: It is essential that the structure is erected following the instructions provided on a stable and level base made from a suitably durable material. It should also be treated shortly after installation and then annually thereafter with an appropriate quality wood preservative.
