The Oren 12′ x 6′ Shiplap Modular Custom Apex Potting Shed was crafted to offer additional storage capacity for your garden while enabling you to cultivate your potted flora all year round. You have the flexibility to modify this shed, enabling you to position the doors in any orientation that suits your garden. Every Oren Shed is constructed using 12mm thick shiplap tongue and groove timber for the walls, floor, and roof, ensuring enhanced robustness and longevity. The sturdy framing of this building is delicately curved at each edge, providing an exquisite appearance. This shed includes toughened safety glass and a Premium High Performance Felt with a unique polyester backing that guarantees durability and prevents easy tearing or rippling. An optional upgrade for double doors is available for customization. Each potting shed is equipped with standard two-tier shelving, with the possibility of adding extra shelving. The floor and roof also utilize 12mm tongue and groove boarding to ensure superior strength and resilience. The shiplap cladding features a subtle groove at the top of each board, facilitating swift water runoff and rapid drying after rainfall to prevent water damage. Enhanced Glass Quality Every Oren shed with windows is furnished with toughened safety glass as a standard feature. Toughened glass undergoes a strengthening treatment to enhance its structural toughness and thermal durability, bolstering its resistance to heat and impact by 500% compared to ordinary glass. The glass is pre-fitted internally, eliminating the need for self-installation, with PVC sills completing the window units to prevent water ingress and deliver an elegant appearance. Durable Hardware Galvanised ironmongery components, including hinges, turn buttons, and door pulls, are included with all Oren sheds to extend the shed’s longevity and reduce oxidation. The galvanising process involves coating the hardware with a zinc protective layer to shield it against rust and other forms of damage. Superior Roofing Material The shed is furnished with high-quality waterproof felt boasting a special polyester backing for extended durability and resilience against tearing or rippling. The felt is impregnated with bitumen (asphalt), a protective compound that repels water while permitting proper ventilation to preserve the shed’s integrity.
