Included with this shed are toughened safety glass panels and a Premium High Performance Felt reinforced with a special polyester backing, ensuring long-lasting durability without easily rippling or tearing. Tongue and groove construction is consistent throughout all Oren sheds, offering enhanced strength and durability with 12mm thick shiplap timber used for the floor and roof as well. The unique shiplap cladding features a subtle channel atop each board, facilitating quick water runoff and faster drying after rainfall, thereby safeguarding the shed from potential water-related damage. Equipped with toughened safety glass by default, all Oren sheds with windows benefit from enhanced structural durability and thermal strength. The toughening process considerably boosts the glass’s resilience, making it 500% more resistant to heat and shock compared to standard glass. With already internally beaded glass and PVC sills accompanying the window units, water ingress is prevented while providing an aesthetic finish. An essential feature of all Oren sheds is the implementation of galvanised ironmongery, including hinges, turn buttons, and door pulls, which significantly extend the shed’s lifespan and minimize oxidation. The galvanising process involves applying a protective zinc coating to shield the ironmongery from rust and other forms of damage. Finally, the shed is coated with a high-performance waterproof felt comprising a specialized ‘polyester’ backing, ensuring prolonged longevity by preventing easy rippling or tearing.
