The Oren 16′ x 8′ Pent Comb Potting Shelter with a 6ft Side Store is specially crafted to offer additional storage space for your backyard while also enabling you to cultivate your potted flora throughout the entire year. This shelter can be tailored to your liking, allowing flexibility in door placement, making it suitable for any back garden. All Oren Shelters are constructed from 12mm thick shiplap tongue and groove wood, including the base and top, providing enhanced robustness and endurance. The sturdy framework of this structure has been smoothly rounded at each intersection, giving it an impressive appearance. This shelter is equipped with toughened safety glass by default, along with Premium High Performance Felt featuring a unique polyester backing, ensuring prolonged durability without easily wrinkling or tearing. Kindly note that only one of the doors would be converted into a double door, while the other would remain as a single one. Tongue and groove all around Each Oren shelter is fashioned from 12mm thick shiplap tongue and groove wood. The base and top are crafted from 12mm tongue and groove lumber to deliver added vigour and longevity. Shiplap cladding features a subtle ridge atop each board, enabling faster water runoff compared to regular tongue and groove surfaces. This design aids in quick drying after rain exposure, shielding the shelter from potential water-related harm. Hardened glass Every Oren shelter with windows is furnished with toughened safety glass as standard. Toughening elevates the glass’s structural sturdiness and thermal resilience, enhancing durability and heat resistance. Hardened glass boasts 500% higher resistance to heat and impact compared to standard glass. The glass is internally beaded for convenience, eliminating the need for DIY glass installation, and PVC sills complete the windows, preventing water infiltration and providing a polished look. Zinc-plated fittings All Oren shelters are supplied with galvanised hinges, turn buttons, and door handles, ensuring prolonged life expectancy and reducing rust formation. Galvanisation involves coating with a protective zinc layer to safeguard against corrosion and other potential damage. Premium High Performance Felt The shelter is complemented by a superior waterproof felt with a unique ‘polyester’ backing, guaranteeing extended longevity and resistance to wrinkling or tearing. The felt is impregnated with bitumen (asphalt), a waterproofing agent that repels water while enabling airflow.
