Far beyond a simple wooden shed, this magnificent garden structure is meticulously constructed in the UK, using kiln-dried, sleek-planed redwood timber panels, supported by a remarkably robust 45mm x 28mm PAR framework. Despite its charming traditional featheredge appearance, the shed boasts formidable strength; each 10mm panel overlaps its neighbor by over 25mm, yielding walls with a thickness of 20mm in select areas. Backed by an impressive 15-year warranty, the timber is sourced exclusively from sustainable, well-managed forests certified by PEFC and FSC®, and the shed comes adorned in a tasteful high-quality grey hue.

The flooring boasts premium 12mm interlocking, sleek-planed tongue and groove boards that are pressure-treated for durability. Supported by pressure-treated bearers, the flooring is shielded against ground moisture, making it perfect for storing heavier items. The roof is bedecked in Grade 1 Canadian Red Cedar shingles, akin to those used in upscale residential structures in Canada. Over time, these shingles develop a subtle silver hue while being safeguarded by natural oils from rot and pests, ensuring a lifespan exceeding 30 years. The steeply pitched roof design not only elevates the shed’s aesthetic but also provides ample headroom for even the tallest garden enthusiasts.

Entry into this exceptional garden shed is granted through a secure single door, complete with a rim lock for added protection of valuables. Treatment Note: Forest Retreat Sheds feature pressure-treated floors and bearers that do not require re-treatment. The redwood cladding is protected with Teknos Aquatop, a premium exterior paint. We recommend reapplying this paint every six years. The roof’s cedar shingles have a minimum 30-year lifespan, extendable to 50 years with proper maintenance. Application of a suitable cedar cladding oil will aid in achieving this.
