Crafted with expertise in Worcestershire, by the leading UK maker of wooden garden structures, Timberdale represents Forest’s top range of sheds. Featuring premium characteristics throughout and supported by an industry-leading 25-year warranty, this 8×6 pitched shed (2.5m x 2m) is a preferred choice for elegant, durable, high-quality garden storage.
Excellent Modular Structure
Crafted from 12mm tongue and groove boards, renowned for their durability, elegance, and weather-resistant properties, this garden shed boasts a clever modular design for easier assembly and more flexible door/window placement. Supported by notably sturdy, doubled-up 33mm framing (66mm x 33mm), this Timberdale Shed not only offers easier assembly and greater flexibility compared to other wooden sheds but also provides superior strength.
Base and Roof
The base and roof are both made from superior 12mm tongue and groove. The former can handle regular foot traffic and heavier items with ease. It comes with pressure-treated bearers for additional support and effective protection against ground moisture. The stylish pitched roof includes a top-tier 140g reinforced-polyester mineral felt cover for unbeatable weather-proofing (color of felt may vary).
Secure Entrance and Ventilated Window
The ledged and braced door provides easy access to the shed for owners. It is equipped with exterior turn buttons, interior bolts, and a rim lock for safeguarding valuable tools. This door can be set up for either a left or right-handed opening to suit the orientation of the garden. Inside, a ventilated window offers ample natural light and ventilation. Made from 4mm toughened safety glass, it enhances security and is ideal for an active garden setting.
Sustainably Sourced and Effortless
The wood used for constructing this shed is FSC®-certified, sourced only from sustainable, well-managed forests. Pressure-treated and accompanied by a top-notch 25-year anti-rot warranty, this shed requires no further treatment, saving time and money in the long term.

Shed Base Options
Wooden Shed Base Kit
This shed base, an alternative to laying slabs or concrete, offers a quicker, more cost-effective DIY solution. The framework is constructed from UC4 incised timber that is pressure treated. This pressure treatment ensures the framework’s resilience and guarantees resistance to rot for an impressive 15 years.
Base Size: 7.5cm (h) x 236cm (w) x 182.6cm (d)
Plastic Shed Base Kit
The 8×6 plastic shed base kit is quick and easy to install, perfect for avoiding the complexity of laying slabs or concrete when preparing a base for a new shed. Its interlocking design simplifies assembly, and although lightweight, it provides a sturdy and durable base for the shed. Crafted entirely from 100% recycled plastic, this shed base is eco-friendly and can be reused if the shed is repositioned. The base allows for ventilation and drainage below the shed, assisting in keeping the shed floor dry.
To install the base, interlock the square grids and place them on a firm, level ground. The recommendation is to use 15kg of 10mm pea gravel per square (gravel not included). Each square measures 500 x 500 x 40mm. This pack includes 20 squares and heavy-duty, commercially-graded weed membrane.
Kindly note that we do not assemble plastic shed bases as part of our installation service. The base must be prepared in advance by the customer before the installers’ arrival.
