An efficient alternative to traditional slab or concrete bases, this wooden shed base offers a quicker and more cost-effective DIY solution. The base framework is constructed from UC4 incised timber, pressure treated for durability and backed by a 15-year rot resistance guarantee. Base size: 7.5cm (h) x 118cm (w) x 182.6cm (d).
Plastic Shed Base Kit
The 6×4 plastic shed base kit is a straightforward and swift installation method, ideal for avoiding the complexities of laying slabs or concrete. Featuring an interlocking design for easy assembly, this lightweight yet robust base is made from 100% recycled plastic, providing an eco-friendly solution. Additionally, it allows for ventilation and drainage under the shed, promoting a dry shed floor. Each square grid is 500 x 500 x 40mm; the pack includes 12 squares and heavy-duty weed membrane. Gravel (15kg of 10mm pea gravel per square, not included) is recommended for installation on firm, level ground. Please note that plastic shed bases are not assembled as part of the installation service. Prior to the installers’ visit, prepare the base according to the supplied instructions.
