Offering a quicker and more cost-effective DIY solution compared to laying slabs or concrete, the wooden shed base features a framework constructed from UC4 incised timber that is pressure treated. The robust framework is guaranteed to resist rot for an impressive 15 years. Dimensions of the base: 7.5cm (height) x 182.6cm (width) x 295cm (depth).
Plastic Shed Base Kit
The plastic shed base kit, measuring 10×6, is swift and straightforward to install, making it an ideal alternative to laying slabs or concrete when preparing a shed base. Its interlocking design simplifies assembly, and despite its lightweight nature, it offers a sturdy and durable base. Crafted from 100% recycled plastic, this eco-friendly shed base can be reused if the shed is relocated. The base provides ample ventilation and drainage underneath the shed, aiding in keeping the shed floor dry. Installation involves interlocking the square grids and placing them on a firm, level ground. Each square measures 500 x 500 x 40mm, with the pack containing 24 squares and heavy-duty weed membrane. It is recommended to use 15kg of 10mm pea gravel per square (gravel not included). Please note that the assembly of plastic shed bases is not included in the installation service; customers must prepare the base before the installers’ arrival.
